To me. what’s interesting about Dizzee Rascal is not who he is but who he is going to become. But then, I’m old enough to know how people change as years go by. Will he move into politics? Will he become an author? He’s got the talent to do either. Or both.

Dizzee, or Dylan Mills, to use his real name, is a Scorpio. He’s sharp yet sensitive, passionate yet perspicacious. He knows that rappers, like footballers, don’t stay at the top of their game forever. As he says in one of his own songs, ‘The Sun is the biggest star in the sky. But naturally it’s got to make room for the Moon every night. Everything’s got its time limit.’

Dizzee, though, is smart enough to sidestep life’s pitfalls and remain a success for many long years to come.
