MONDAY August 6 Back to the future 
The only way to see what the future holds is to fully understand what the past contained! That's why astrologers also have to be historians. Whenever a significant astrological alignment occurs, we begin by looking back to see what happened the last time. Then, we extrapolate. Hence my suggestion that you look back to August 1999 if you want to identify the issues that are now arising in your love life and your financial situation. TUESDAY August 7 Jupiter turning direct 
This week, as Jupiter finally turns 'direct', you'll be able to make progress with a plan or idea that has been 'on hold' since April. Opportunities for expansion are not necessarily blocked while Jupiter is retrograde but we have to aim carefully if we want to hit our targets. Once Jupiter is moving in the 'right' direction once more, it gets harder to stop a process of change than to start one! As new possibilities reveal themselves over the coming days, focus on your original goal and you'll be able to put the cosmic climate to very good use.

THURSDAY August 9 It's a dogs life 
Hi Jonathan,I recently watched a Labrador training to become a guide dog. This creature eagerly sacrificing its life to help others, made me wonder if the human experience really is the best opportunity for spiritual development? Maybe people become dogs in the next life if they have acquired enough love and selflessness in this one. Sue

FRIDAY August 10 Cinderella's glass slip-up? 
In a recent horoscope you talked about Cinderella and her 'glass' slipper � suggesting that 'verre' had been substituted for 'vert', meaning green. There is another theory that she wore � a 'pantoufle en vair', a slipper made from fur. This, to me, sounds more likely as humans wearing animal skin was a sign of shamanic transformation. Just thought you'd like to know.
