Jonathan Cainer Zodiac Forecasts

PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

May 9 2016 to May 15 2016

Monday May 9

Transit of Mercury

As you may know, Jonathan passed away in the early hours of the morning on Monday, May 2nd.

He had already written forecasts and predictions well in advance, so we shall keep on publishing them here and you can still carry on reading his remarkable and incisive work.

It was always Jonathan's wish that his nephew, Oscar (a qualified astrologer in his own right) should carry on in his tradition and also oversee his extensive archive of forecasts, so that all his work can still be read and enjoyed. More on this soon.

Jonathan was already preparing forecasts and predictions for future publication. With Oscar's help, we will continue to share them.

He had a remarkable and unique gift. He does not take it with him... he leaves it with us.

Jonathan wrote: 'For this exciting event, Mercury is retrograde, which usually presents barriers in the way of communication. But when transiting the Sun, the nature of this conjunction can herald a period of introspection, a moment to reflect internally and a chance to commune with our deepest ideas. Now is the time when you can make an important connection with your most fundamental self.'

Tuesday May 10

Higher Perspective

Jonathan was preparing readings in advance of publication. Over the coming days, with the help of his nephew Oscar Cainer, a qualified astrologer, we will continue to publish those he was planning. We are also sharing Jonathan's inspiring quotes. Today, from October 2003: 'How long does eternity take? The idea of an existence with no beginning and no end is mind-boggling. That's why, on balance, we prefer not to think about it. But that's also why, despite living in a world of infinite possibilities, we become fixated on trivia. Reach for a higher perspective and instead of seeing reasons to worry, you will see reasons to celebrate.'

Wednesday May 11

Like an Egyptian

Jonathan was preparing readings in advance of publication. Over the coming days, with the help of his nephew Oscar Cainer, a qualified astrologer, we will continue to publish those he was planning. We are also sharing Jonathan's inspiring quotes.

Today, from September 2005: 'Ancient Egyptians used to be entombed with possessions in case they needed them again. Several thousand years later, they are still where they left them. Of course, they could be coming back at any moment. What's a millennium or two when you have eternity at your disposal? It seems wise to make the most of what you have while you've got it, and to let it go when you no longer need it.'

Thursday May 12

'Til Death Us Do Part

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Jonathan was preparing his readings in advance of publication. Over the coming days we will continue to publish those he was planning. In this space we are also sharing Jonathan's inspiring quotes. Today, from April 2003:

'Some things never change. They last forever. They will always be what they always were. Our deepest, most emotional bonds for example... in some shape or form they will be with us our whole life long. Even death cannot part us from the people with whom we have made a permanent connection!'

Friday May 13

True Value

Jonathan was preparing readings in advance. Over the coming days we will continue publishing those he was planning. We are also sharing Jonathan's inspiring quotes. Today, from May 2002: 'The purpose of life is not to get from A to B. Try telling that, though, to someone on a journey. The purpose of life is not to pay the rent. Those with financial difficulties may think otherwise. When we lack something, we rapidly lose perspective. We feel we will never rest until we achieve our objective. Are you attaching too much importance to something that is ultimately irrelevant?'

Saturday May 14

Your Week Ahead

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Jonathan was preparing readings in advance. Over the coming days we will continue publishing those he was planning.
Jonathan writes: "We slowly approach a Full Moon in Sagittarius next weekend. As the Moon can only ever grow full in the sign that lies opposite the Sun, and the Sun is currently in Taurus, we can therefore surmise it will soon enter Gemini, the opposite sign to Sagittarius. Around the same time, Mercury will reach the end of its recent retrograde phase and lessons learned lately can be put into practice. Meanwhile, the great heavenly guardians, Jupiter and Saturn, edge ever closer to the right angle which they complete next week. It all bodes well for new hope and adventure."

Sunday May 15

Your Week Ahead - Love Focus

Remember, your Love Forecast today does not just cover romance. A love forecast may also have something to say about your family life, your closest friendships and even some of your most important working relationships.
