PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

November 7 2016 to November 13 2016

Monday November 7

Guy Fawkes

This last weekend, fireworks were lit and fires burned, as bonfire night was celebrated across the UK. It was the annual commemoration of Guy Fawkes and his foiled attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. It's often joked that he was the last man to enter the building with honest intentions. Whilst Mr Fawkes' plans were unsuccessful, with Venus making a harmonious trine to Uranus recently, your own emotional revolution should be better appreciated!

Tuesday November 8

United States of the World

Today, the good people of the USA choose our next leader. Of course, I mean their leader. But, as the saying goes, when America catches a cold, the rest of the world sneezes. Once or twice my forecasts recently may have mentioned the protagonists in this drama. But it's never been my intention to sway anyone's vote nor pledge political allegiance. My only comment today, is to wish the best for all US citizens and hope that their informed choices help usher in a safer, kinder and fairer future.

Wednesday November 9

President Positive

Today, we discovered who is to be the new leader of the 'Free World'... although there's something ironic about giving that title to someone who's only being elected by the people of just one of the countries in it! One thing's for sure... there are many people unhappy with the result. With Mars moving into Aquarius today, energy and initiative are in the air. The skies are asking us to think positive!

Thursday November 10

Hope and Harmony

With Mars now in Aquarius, despite how things may appear, there's a renewed focus on fairness in the world. Some readers recently wrote in suggesting that I supported a particular candidate for president of the USA. And whilst it's true that I was pleased to see that gender equality had advanced enough to make the first ever female president a possibility, neither candidate's rhetoric inspired great hope in my heart. It's the hearts of the majority of kind, generous, fair and compassionate people, from all walks of life, that inspire me to believe in a positive future, regardless of the politics.

Friday November 11

Glad Heart

This weekend, Venus and Mercury both change signs. Our hearts and minds are turning. Intellectually we may feel more free to express ourselves and explore ideas that have felt off-limits recently. Yet, emotionally we may feel more cautious. It's not that we don't want the best for ourselves, nor should we ever think that true happiness isn't achievable. But we'll be more able to recognise that stability is the key to a glad heart. And, when adventurous thought matches with pragmatic values, so much more becomes a realistic possibility.

Saturday November 12

Your Week Ahead

More Sally Fisher Art here.

The week begins with Mercury and Venus changing signs and ends with Neptune turning direct following its link to the planet of communication. But, most exciting, is Monday's 'Frost Moon'. It's a Supermoon: a Full Moon at its closest to Earth... and this will be our closest encounter of the century so far. The Moon won't come as near again until 2034. An impressive presence in the sky, it will have an equally significant effect on our hearts!

Sunday November 13

Your Week Ahead - Love Focus

Remember, your Love Forecast today does not just cover romance. A love forecast may also have something to say about your family life, your closest friendships and even some of your most important working relationships.
