PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

September 16 2019 to September 22 2019

Monday September 16

A Fairer World

More Sally Fisher Art here.

The Full Moon came; then it went, and our lives are carrying on in its wake. Things might not feel very different, but that doesn't mean they must remain the same. Over the weekend, Venus travelled hand-in-hand with Mercury, as they both entered Libra (Venus's home). From here, they help us to see things from a more interesting perspective, find what's beautiful after sorting through a mess, and create a fairer world. We simply have to generously share our ideas and our hearts.

Fundamental Shift

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Saturn is 'standing still' in the sky. That means the planet that represents life's occasional roadblocks is going nowhere. Its eventual movement forwards will be particularly significant because of what it's moving towards. At the beginning of 2020 Saturn and Pluto converge for the first time since 1982 - and in a setting not seen since Henry VIII was happily married! We're moving into an era when traditional power structures will be challenged. Something fundamental is shifting in the right direction.

Major Terraforming!

Hi Oscar,
My ruler is Saturn and my estranged partner's ruler is Pluto. Whilst they were both retrograde, hope of reconciliation felt distant. When will they both be moving forwards again? Thanks Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, Pluto remains retrograde for a couple more weeks, but Saturn begins moving forward today. As they head towards a conjunction in Capricorn early next year, they'll start to work closely together. This is major terraforming; the sort that can reshape our foundations. It brings hope and reconciliation... a good sign, for the planet, and, even if it's not in the way you expect, for you too! Best Oscar

Healthy Interaction

Dear Oscar,
'Pluto forces us to face aspects of ourselves we don't like admitting to.' That sounds scary! Yours Alex

Hi Alex, The planets don't force us; they create possibilities. Unless you're scaring yourself, you needn't fear what you find. Yours Oscar

Dear Oscar,
Many people are trying to restrict their toxic interactions with the world, whilst remaining open to healthy ones. Is this astrologically inspired? Yours James.

Hi James, Saturn has a filtering effect; Pluto can represent sabotage. Their union next year may well combine to protect us against toxic influences. Let's hope so! Yours Oscar

New Found Freedom

More Sally Fisher Art here.

This week I've talked about astrological events which will impact us early next year. At the Equinox, it's natural to focus on what lies ahead; and big occasions, such as Saturn's convergence with Pluto, are worth highlighting early; we will feel it well in advance and its repercussions will last. So, as Mercury and Saturn link this weekend, it's worth refining long-term plans. With Jupiter and Neptune reminding us to keep improvising, if we go with the flow, tastes of new-found freedom are up for grabs.

Your Week Ahead

More Sally Fisher Art here.

'Equinox - movement of the people!' The Sun enters Libra this week and that means the Equinox is here. I keep catching myself singing an adapted version of Bob Marley's hit, Exodus, which is appropriate because this is the time of year when we're encouraged to think about where we've come from, and where we're headed; then to look to create something more beautiful and fair. With kindly Venus linking with Saturn, and Mercury linked with powerful Pluto, we have the tools make a good start this week.

Remember, your Love Forecast today does not just cover romance. A love forecast may also have something to say about your family life, your closest friendships and even some of your most important working relationships.
