But since the New Moon takes place between the two planets, the cumulative effect encourages optimistic visualisation and a fresh approach towards manifesting dreams. Today we enter the final leg in the twelve-year Chinese astrological cycle: the earth Year Of The Pig. Although I'm no expert, it seems that this noble animal represents wealth and affluence. Given that Jupiter, the planet of abundance, also takes twelve years to traverse the zodiac and return to full power in Sagittarius (as is now the case), there are wonderful parallels to be drawn with the astrology I'm more familiar with.
