Positive Spin

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Since Saturn and Pluto both have PR issues, their convergence in January made headline news. Yet no amount of spin was able to disguise the drama and difficulty they heralded. Now as they move forwards and separate, just as I try to see the best in people, I'm trying to focus on the positive effects of their influence. One of the insights we've gained is the ability to call out the manipulation and the misuse of power. Now, we can work together to make the changes we want to see.

Times Are a-Changin'

Hi Oscar,
The world appears to be going through huge changes. Do you believe they're for the better? I worry about the world my granddaughter will inherit. Yours, Marion

Hi Marion, I have a young son, so I relate to your concerns. One of this year's Jupiter-Pluto effects brings an amplification of worry and a sense of foreboding. Yet, the difficulties we face also bring an awakening. We've been forced to reconsider our values. People are more important than objects: freedom is more important than finance. As long as we learn from the challenges, we can lay the foundations for a better world. Yours, Oscar

Revolutionary Boomerang

More Sally Fisher Art here.

Mercury has been shooting forwards for a while. Soon, like a celestial yo-yo, it will start heading back towards the Sun. But before it reaches the end of its string it moves opposite revolutionary, avant-garde Uranus, encouraging us to say what must be said, (even if it gets us into trouble). This is not an invitation to burn bridges and start down paths of no return - this same alignment repeats in reverse next week. Speaking from the heart is one thing, shooting from the hip another!

Dancing Fingers

My wife sometimes refers to me as Grizzly Man. Not because I'm big and hairy (although guilty as charged) but because I absolutely love having my back scratched. Whenever I try to do it myself, the itch seems to just dance away, out of reach of my fingers. Today, as Venus becomes the focus of a Finger of the World alignment with Mars and Pluto, we may struggle to put our finger on exactly what we want. But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the process of searching for it!

Autumn Leaves

For the first time in its history, the French Open tennis tournament is taking place in autumn. Players shivering on the sidelines isn't ideal, but at least the organisers have staged an event many assumed would be cancelled. Although Saturn's move forwards suggests that restrictions will resurface, we're better equipped to deal with them. We can have faith in our ability to rise to any challenges. This weekend, Jupiter urges hope as creative ways to marshal our resources emerges. P.S. Why not follow us on Instagram at @cainerhoroscopes ?

Your Weekly Horoscope

Imagination is a slippery and elusive quality. It's the source of great leaps forward in our thinking and it's where valuable insights are mined. But it's also a labyrinth; even if we avoid losing ourselves within its twists and turns, it's not easy to transform the glimpses of potential into reality. While Jupiter and Neptune inspire creativity this week, retrograde Mercury makes it hard to communicate our ideas. The New Moon suggests that actions will reveal more than words can ever tell. P.S.
