PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

February 3 2020 to February 9 2020

Monday February 3

Path to Success

More Sally Fisher Art here.

February begins with a celestial call to be productive. As Venus' movements encourage creativity, our talents are revived and refreshed. Yet, while freedom of imagination is a gift to be pursued, there's little to be gained by indulging in 'art for art's sake'. We need to be on the look-out for ideas that will have sustainable impact and bring tangible results before we invest our time, money or resources. As long as we do our homework, there's an opportunity to discover enjoyable new paths to success.

Something Fishy This way Comes

Mercury entered Pisces yesterday and will soon link to Uranus and Mars. But even though these planetary movements encourage change and action, it's important to keep an air of flexibility rather than over-commit to one particular course. In less than two weeks, when Mercury turns retrograde, it will be the only major planet in the sky moving backwards. We will have to re-visit some of our recent decisions. That doesn't mean that new ideas shouldn't be acted upon, but leave some room for manoeuvre.

What the Heart Wants

More Sally Fisher Art here.

There's a saying: 'The heart wants what the heart wants'. It's sometimes hard to understand why. But as Venus prepares to enter Aries on Friday, there's one thing I'm sure about: our hearts will want! The planet of love's new position will light a fire that yearns for fuel and encourages action more full of emotion than meticulous planning. So, if we know what's coming, we can at least plan for being unplanned. Mercury's links today help us to, at least for now, look before we leap.

Thursday February 6

Snow Moon

Venus, the planet of love, moves into a new sign tomorrow. But this isn't the only astrological event to get excited about. The first of 2020's Supermoons arrives in Leo, encouraging self-expression, generosity and even (should we feel inclined) acts of the romantic kind. Known as the Snow Moon by some native American tribes, the one thing this event won't be is cold and distant. We shouldn't be surprised to find a little more charm and playfulness warming all of our hearts.

Friday February 7

Share Some Emotion

With Venus and the Supermoon concentrating much of the planetary energy on our emotions, Mercury's link to Pluto this weekend speaks for the deep-thinkers and the secret-keepers. Not everyone is comfortable wearing their heart on their sleeve; and some thoughts are best kept private. But, beware of allowing any feelings to fester. More than anything, Leo's Supermoon encourages a realisation about who we are and the way we express ourselves. Powerful emotions can be more easily shared.

Saturday February 8

Your Weekly Horoscope

More Sally Fisher Art here.

This week, in the build-up to Valentine's Day, the Supermoon lights up in Leo, and Venus is as busy as a bee; and there's a last 'hurrah' from Mars (in freewheeling Sagittarius) before it settles into more responsible Capricorn. The celestial signs are clear! Our hearts can afford to be playful! Bold experimentation and adventure, in our emotional lives, is being encouraged. That doesn't mean acting irresponsibly. But it does advocate enjoying ourselves before some real work begins.

Remember, your Love Forecast today does not just cover romance. A love forecast may also have something to say about your family life, your closest friendships and even some of your most important working relationships.
