Tuesday December 5 Happy Krampus I've only just discovered Krampusnacht, yet tonight, across much of central Europe, children make offerings to Krampus: a clawed, goat-monster who rewards well-behaved kids (and punishes naughty ones). Since Walt Disney would've had a field day with this, I'm surprised it's remained relatively unheard of. So, excuse me, as I head off to try on my Krampus-suit!
