Jonathan Cainer Zodiac Forecasts

PREVIOUS THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
July 1st to July 6th 2002

MONDAY JULY 1
Jonathan away - Bernard Fitzwalter

Jonathan is away and will be back next week. He writes: "My respected colleague Bernard Fitzwalter is writing the predictions today while I am on holiday. I am sure you will find Bernard's forecasts of great value."
Bernard: Jonathan's on holiday this week and once again, he's picked a time when Jupiter, the guiding planet of Sagittarians, is well-aspected in the skies, thus guaranteeing him a good time. He always seems to do this, and I'm sure it's not just coincidence. But there again, if you can't pick good days for yourself when you're an astrologer, then when can you? Finding good days is the main perk of the job!

TUESDAY JULY 2
Jonathan away - Adam Smith

Jonathan is away and will be back next Monday. Today's guest writer is Adam Smith. Adam, 33, is a consultant astrologer based in London. He writes a horoscope column for Star, the BBC celebrity magazine. He also works for Astrolivelink, the live astrological telephone consultation service. Jonathan writes: "I am sure you will enjoy Adam's perceptive forecasts."
Adam: Summer is here at last and the media 'silly season' will soon be upon us. Politicians take a rest, people think about the World Cup Final, Wimbledon and their holidays and news stories get thinner and thinner. Not on this page, however. Astrology doesn't take breaks, never has a silly season and the stars always stay in their orbits, doing their mysterious work. Comets, eclipses and grand planetary conjunctions don't follow the working week and come at any day or hour. So while the rest of the papers may be taken up with soaps, movies and minor royalty, you can always turn to the horoscope page and find the real stars.

WEDNESDAY JULY 3
Jonathan away - Yasmin Boland

Jonathan is on holiday this week and will be back next Monday. Today's guest writer is Yasmin Boland who will also write the forecasts tomorrow. Yasmin divides her time between sunny Sydney and London. A full-time writer, Yasmin is the author of Cosmic Love, a pocket-sized book about using astrology, feng shui, crystals and more to draw love to you. You can read her daily Moon Meditation column on her website www.yasminboland.com
Yasmin: Some days are astrologically quiet, but this definitely isn't one of them. There are two major energies at play today. One is very stable and softly tender, yet thinks very rationally, while the other is determined at best and volatile and big-headed at worst. Avoid arrogance - but assert yourself today to get your needs met. As the Moon moves through Aries, she triggers a harmonious aspect between Venus, Saturn and Mercury. Lovingly constructive conversations about your needs and your future are possible now. And as big guns Mars and Jupiter meet up in Cancer, today also includes the ingredients required to brew a potentially explosive combination where long-time-coming situations are concerned. Excessive arguments and hedonism are other possible predicaments. Use the energies wisely!

THURSDAY JULY 4
Jonathan away - Yasmin Boland

Jonathan Cainer is away and will return to this page on Monday. Yasmin Boland returns today as guest writer.

Yasmin: If sensuality has been lacking in your life, plug into the power of the moon today as she moves through earthy Taurus. Along with Libra, Taurus is associated with that most sumptuous of planets Venus, so her placement there today means earthy pleasures and delights are on offer. With the energy of yesterday's volatile rendezvous between Mars and Jupiter still around, things could get quite passionate, if you let them (or encourage them). If sensuality is not what you crave but you want to get in touch with the lunar vibe anyway, go for a long, slow walk through the countryside. And if you can't get to the countryside, go to a park. Taurean energy is about getting your feet on the ground, one way or another.

FRIDAY JULY 5
Jonathan away - Madalyn Aslan

Jonathan returns with the weekly predictions tomorrow and the daily predictions on Monday. Today's guest astrologer is Madalyn Aslan. Based in California, Madalyn is author of the first astrology book for children, What's Your Sign?: A Cosmic Guide for Young Astrologers, published by Penguin Putnam this May. Visit Madalyn at www.madalynaslan.com or www.child.com, San Francisco, or London's College of Psychic Studies. You can order Madalyn's book at www.amazon.com
Madalyn: If you feel your world is spinning faster and faster, you're not hallucinating - it is. You can smell and taste the joy, it's that close. And I'm not talking about the Rapture Ready vision of my current U.S. fundamentalist government! I'm talking about YOU, dear reader, all your music itching to play itself, all those sexy words you still have to utter, all the sunlight in your head and heart. There are children in there, too. Trust where you are, and love it. My last astrology book was for kids and their Suns, my new one is for adults and their unbelievably lucky Jupiters. I suggest you read your Jupiter sign as well as your Sun sign. (It's not hard, look up your birthday in an ephemeris). Your luck is ASTOUNDING. And here, right now. Signal it to come to you, and it will.

SATURDAY JULY 6
Full Moon - Match Made in Heaven - Sven Goran Eriksson & Ulrika Jonsson

A Full Moon gives out as much light as a 15-watt bulb on the ceiling. You can just about read by it. Right now though, the Moon is New and the sky is dark indeed. Maybe that's why some of us don't feel so bright.
The Match Made in Heaven? Sven Goran Eriksson (b. May 10, 1948) Taurus and Ulrika Jonsson (b. August 16, 1967) Leo
People born under the fixed signs of Taurus and Leo tend to finish what they have started. There is a powerful animal attraction between the bull and the lion. Despite all that may be said - or denied - I suspect that we have not even seen the first half of this match.
