Like a famous actress, secretly caught on camera without her make-up, Venus was reminding us all of the difference between style and substance.
She showed us her darker side. We saw her in shadow. This new perspective on the planet of love may yet cause us all soon to reconsider our own loves, desires, passions and preferences.
We may become more able to notice their downside � more aware of the drawbacks and difficulties that accompany our delights; the pains that can stem from our pleasures; the rejections created by our selections.
Yet it should also bring the awakening of a new level of higher consciousness � as long predicted by the ancients.
