Problems with journeys In my dreams I always seem to be setting out on a journey, although I’m not with my husband or children. At the last minute, there is always a 'hiccup'. Either the ferry is cancelled, or there is a problem with my train ticket or I can't find my boarding pass. As a result, I never manage to reach my destination. You also explain that you have two part-time jobs, neither of which you enjoy. As your family does not feature in the dream, it seems to be saying something about your role outside the home. You mention that you feel stuck in a rut and long to do something different but cannot think of anything you excel at. Yet how can you know what you might excel at unless you start finding out? Journeys in dreams often suggest a need to have new experiences and to discover previously unknown aspects of yourself.
