Power for Aries One way or another, the main thing to hold you back in 2002 will probably be your ability to get from A to B. Expect intermittent transportation difficulties and be aware that somehow, you are going to have to work your way around these. There is always a thorn to every rose but the flower in your power picture this year is the triumph in your domestic life. There may have been many ups and downs on the home front lately but this year brings your opportunity to start smoothing things out. Even long-standing family feuds stand a fair chance of being, if not quite resolved, at least reduced this year. Towards the end of the year you will be blessed with the opportunity to embark upon a speculative venture and you will then discover that your often erratic instincts have finally become consistently reliable and accurate. You don't, this year, seek power over a person, or even over a group of people - merely over a situation which seems most unfair. Slowly but surely in 2002 you will discover surprisingly impressive reserves of strength and these will enable you to have a great influence over the future of a key drama. Money for Aries When toddlers travel by car, they are often distracted in their safety seats, by a toy steering wheel - attached to a pretend dashboard with a horn and a gear stick. No matter how hard though, the infant tries to drive the car there is no actual connection to the engine. Your own efforts to influence the flow of money into and out of your life follow a similar principle. You may feel, as you stride with all your might to reduce expenditure here and maximise opportunities there, that you are a powerful figure successfully persuading the god of money to do your bidding. In fact though, your income obeys a law of its own - as does your expenditure. This might be worrying were it not for the fact that the law in question is benign. Though it seems to be your fate to ride an endless roller-coaster of a fluctuating financial fortune you are safely strapped in to the economic carriage. Although you may have many hair-raising moments you never fall out of it. In 2002 the ups will be even more exhilarating and the downs, more nerve-racking but you will end the year, despite it all, more stable and secure than ever before. Overview for Aries First, you get your wood. Making sure that it is nice and dry, you build a little heap - putting on plenty of small stuff - and leaving lots of air gaps to ensure easy ignition. You'll need some newspaper and, of course, you will also need matches. When you're ready, you may want to strike two or three... but you should find that if you put one in the right place, you don't need more than that. Unless, of course, your would-be fire turns out to be rather like 2002. If that turns out to be the case, you're going to need a little extra help. Some wax firelighters. Some pieces of balsa, factory-cut into slim shavings. A windbreak. And, in case all else fails, a small can of paraffin or gasoline. 2002 WILL heat up. Once it does, it will keep you warm and cosy, month after month. Indeed it may eventually get a little too hot to handle. We'll worry later though, about how to cool things down. First we need to look at how to get them going. That, as you may already be starting to notice, is not easy. You are beginning to suspect that, no matter what you do or where you go, you are never going to get out of a rut that you have been caught in for ages. You feel trapped; stuck, stymied, hamstrung and handicapped. You are a victim of your own success in one way - and a victim of your own inertia in another. You are just too good at doing something that isn't necessarily good for you. You have a routine. You have a set of important commitments. You've got a habit pattern. You've got places you're supposed to be going and people you are supposed to be doing things with and for. It may none of it be ideal but how can you go changing all that? Yet how can there ever be a roaring flame of excitement and hope in your heart till something significant shifts? What you sorely need is momentum. Which is handy really because, due at least in part to the exciting influence of new planet, KX76, momentum in 2002 is precisely what you are going to get. Once it comes, there'll be no stopping it. But you'd best prepare for a slow build up to this desirable speed. It's coming... and it is worth waiting for... but you need to remember that a high wind will whip up an established fire but it will only extinguish one that isn't fully alight.
