Power for Virgo Virgos do not seek power. They do not need to. Power finds its way to them. Not, of course, the gross kind of power that many people associate with this word but the far more subtle and effective sort that can easily pass unnoticed by the untrained eye. You are not interested in ruling the world, for you know full well that this is simply an impossibility. The world is far too big to rule and those who imagine otherwise are just deluded. You do desire control, but you are intelligent enough to realise that the only way you will ever achieve power over the macrocosm is to become an expert at manipulating the microcosm. It is from this that the Virgo's famous fascination with detail stems. Detail, though, only interests you because it represents a route to power. Other routes too, will engage your attention just as much - provided they seem viable. You are interested only in the practical - but this year, you are likely to be swamped with realistic routes to power. The sky, it seems, is determined to elevate you to a position of high status and great authority. You will find it hard to resist this cosmic pull but you should find it no great hardship to go along with it. Money for Virgo Virgos, they say, are terribly good with money. They watch the pennies carefully, thus allowing the pounds to look after themselves. They know that from tiny cents mighty Euros grow unless, of course they happen to be in the USA in which case, their cents turn into dollars. Sorry to interrupt the flow of this forecast with such diversion into detail but then, you are a Virgo and I know you are never happy unless all angles have been properly covered. Anyway, where were we? Ah yes, your financial prediction for 2002. It all comes back to me now. Or rather, it all comes back to you, steadily, through a series of lucrative opportunities that begin in July and until late October. While this undoubtedly represents your most potentially profitable part of the year it is by no means the only time during which you can expect to find the cosmic forces pulling you in the right direction. A major purchase looks likely in the early part of the year. This has significant implications for your long-term security and may cause you to feel anxious. But you will find, with regard to this, that an old saying proves very true. You must speculate if you want to accumulate. Overview for Virgo You have much more talent, more ability, more experience and more wisdom than life, usually, ever gives you the chance to use. A great deal of your energy, normally, has to go into crisis management, reducing or limiting the size of problems created by other, unthinking people - or into the provision of care and support. You are a kind soul and you find it hard not to give all your heart (and time) to anyone who seems genuinely in need. Recently, these aspects of your personality have been seemingly adding to the amount of stress in your life. By the end of 2002 though, they may be starting to be factors about yourself that you are rightly glad of and proud of. This is due to be a surprisingly good year. You are, I suspect, now steeling yourself for something of a tough time. Given the exhausting and demanding twists and turns that your life has taken over the past few months, that's understandable. You can be forgiven for feeling tense and apprehensive. But actually, soon after this new year begins, a lot of pressure eases up. Pleasingly, decisively and, if not entirely finally, certainly semi-finally! You are about to get a break; a holiday from some of the hassle and hardship that you have encountered so much of in the latter half of 2001. If I were to make such a promise to someone born under any other sign, I might expect it to be greeted with gratitude. I can though, as I write this, almost hear you mouthing a question. "That's all very well... but what new problem will I encounter when this one gets itself under control?" Come late February, as the Moon grows full in your sign, you'll find out. Somehow though, you'll like what you discover. In a strange way, it is almost as if a key situation in your life is about to turn itself upside down or inside out. An aspect of your situation which had been extremely complicated and stressful is about to become, from March onwards, simple and easy. And as we enter April, we may also expect to see difficulty in a part of your life which once, you never had to give a second thought to. But all this will prove stimulating rather than stressful. And it will lead you neatly into one of the most fruitful years of your life.
